Like all other Prowler Proof products their stainless steel security screens and doors are welded instead of being held together with screws or rivets. A weld is stronger than any screw or rivet and it looks better too.

The assembly system is unique to Prowler Proof. The heavy duty aluminium frame and the marine grade stainless steel mesh are joined together in a mechanical and chemical bond. It is vitally unbreakable and provides complete insulation of the two.

All ForceField security doors and screen products use genuine Meshtec 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh. The mesh is woven to a high-tensile strength, with each strand of wire individually tested to stringent international standards. The stainless steel mesh passes the tough Australian Standards 5041 Knife Shear test, to prove its superior strength. Marine grade stainless steel is an excellent choice for those that live in a Marine environment which is defined as being within 10km of the coast line. Most of our customers in the Redcliffe area will fall within this designation.

Prowler Proof products meet or exceed all relevant Australian Standards for screens and doors, as well as some even tougher international standards. These tests include simulated burglar attacks with a knife, a screwdriver, cutting pliers, kicking and pulling. All Prowler Proof products have survived a 1,000-hour salt spray test with no signs of corrosion, passed the cyclone test and even the American Standards hurricane test.
